Long Weekend Ride
Got out on the road early today Saturday 11th May 08.45 The target was to ride to Sheringham on the North Norfolk Coast. Forecast was for strong south westerly winds with sunny intervals but no rain in the morning. I covered the 42 miles in a little short of three hours. Took a good rest at the coast and then caught the train to Norwich and then on to Wymondham. Cycled the ten miles from there to home. Very strong headwind which slowed progress just a little. Got back at home at 15.55 just in time to get my washing off the line before a huge downpour. I had successfully dodged the rain and completed a training ride of 55 miles. Legs in good shape and knees holding out apart from the odd twinge.
