Training ride near Leeds with son Thomas

Bank holiday weekend and a trip to see Thomas and Joseph. Left home at 05.50 on Sunday morning and made the trip in just over three hours. Took the bike and Thomas and his friend Chris took me out on a local ride. A chance to get some riding done in the hills just to the north of Leeds. 2.25 hour ride covering little over 46 kilometres with plenty of up and down and some wind to cycle into for good measure. Stopped at Eccup Reservoir for a rest and drink and then around to Otley and back to Leeds. A good work out. Some of the roads very busy. All good practice.
