This blog has been set up to highlight and follow the training and the ride from Lands End to John O'Groats - "End to End" bike ride that Sean Simington is undertaking in memory of his partner Shirley. Sean is riding to raise funds for the Big C drop in centre in Norwich. You can donate on the just giving site. The web address is above on the main title. Thanks for your support. Every penny helps so no amount is too small.

Training for the Shirley Jenkin memorial ride has been going ahead at a real pace. A good few miles have been put in. Time and distance. In addition Sean has been out running to build up the strength and the endurance. The longest training ride to date has been a distance of 58 miles. On the ride Sean is hoping to cover between 60 and 70 miles a day. Not exactly Bradley Wiggins but it will soon mount up. Sean is departing home on May 21st and will start the ride on 22nd at 08.30 all being well. Keep your fingers crossed.
